For parents of Primary 3 to 6 children

Your child works it out. Spark helps them get there.

A patient AI tutor that asks the next small question instead of giving the answer. Talking and stickers for Primary 3–4, PSLE Maths missions for Primary 5–6.
Free during testing. No card needed.

Two ways to learn

Built for their age, not cut down from an adult app

When you sign up you pick your child’s level, and Spark meets them there. Younger children talk and tap. Older children take on PSLE missions.

Primary 3–4Play

An adventure map, a voice to talk to and a sticker book

Each maths topic is a place on the map, like Counting Castle, Market Stall and Clock Tower. Your child picks one and talks it through with Spark.

  • One big button to hold and talk, so there is little to read or type
  • Spark reads each reply aloud, with a Hear it again button
  • Answer cards to tap when a question has choices
  • A sticker for every place, collected by practising there
  • Sessions planned around 10 minutes
Primary 5–6Quest

PSLE Maths missions with a coach on their side

Each PSLE Maths topic is a mission, from fractions and ratio to rate and speed. Spark coaches in short, direct sentences and names the method it is using.

  • Up to three stars per mission, earned by getting stronger
  • XP and levels for sessions worked, good answers and explained thinking
  • A day streak that one mission keeps going
  • Answers typed, or built as a bar model
  • Sessions planned around 20 minutes

Your child does the thinking. Spark asks the next question.

How it works

Three steps to the first session

  1. Sign up and choose their level

Create an account and pick Primary 3–4 or Primary 5–6. Your child gets the screens built for their age from the first visit.

  2. Your child picks a place or a mission

Spark opens with one small question. When your child is stuck, the next hint goes a little further, up to five rungs, and your child still takes the step.

  3. You link your parent view

Your child makes a six character code on their progress page that works once. You enter it in your parent account to follow their progress and read their sessions.

Safety and the parent view

Calm, private and on your child’s side

We built the kids’ section around a few firm rules. AI can still make mistakes, so the parent view lets you see exactly what was said.

  • Spark does not hand over answers

It asks questions and gives hints on a five rung ladder. The working and the final step stay with your child.

  • Rewards are private

Stars, stickers, XP and streaks belong to your child. There are no leaderboards and no comparing with other children.

  • Effort counts, speed does not

Rewards come from turning up, trying and explaining in their own words. Nothing rewards answering fast.

  • Voice is not stored

A voice clip is turned into text once and then discarded. Only the transcript is kept, as the record of the lesson.

  • A parent view you can read, not change

See progress per topic, recent session summaries and the transcripts. You cannot edit anything or write into a session.

Questions from parents

What parents ask us first

How long is a session, and how much screen time is this?

Sessions are short on purpose. The Primary 3–4 screens are planned around about 10 minutes and the Primary 5–6 screens around about 20. A session is a handful of questions worked through with Spark, not a feed to scroll.

Will Spark do my child’s homework for them?

No. Spark asks questions and gives hints, one rung at a time, up to five rungs. It does not hand over the final answer, so your child still does the working. Like any AI it can make mistakes, so it is worth checking against school notes.

Is my child’s voice recorded?

Voice is turned into text once and the audio is discarded. We never store audio. The transcript is kept, because it is the record of the lesson, and a linked parent can read it.

What does it cost?

Nothing while tutor.ai is in testing. Billing is turned off and you do not need a card to sign up. The plans we expect to offer later are on the pricing page.

What can I see as a parent?

Your child makes a six character code on their progress page, which works once, and you enter it in your parent account. You then see progress per topic, recent session summaries, the transcripts and a count of any replies flagged for review. You can read everything and change nothing.

Are there leaderboards or rankings?

No. Stars, stickers, XP and streaks are private, and your child is never compared with anyone else. Rewards follow effort, such as finishing a session or explaining their thinking, never speed.

Which levels is this for?

Primary 3 to 6. Primary 3–4 children get Play, built around voice, tapping and an adventure map. Primary 5–6 children get Quest, built around PSLE Maths missions. Secondary and JC students use the main tutor.ai site.
